Simulate until the leaves fall from the trees!

After the KPO3 competition closed, we significantly lowered the simulation costs for all users of our system. The smaller the simulation, the cheaper the conversion rate is 1ST to 1PA. For example, for a 1,500 PA simulation, the system will charge only 0.02 ST per 1PA.

Conducting a network route simulation for an estate or town with 1,000 homes actually costs from 2 to 24 zł!

If you are a new client - contact us at fibersim@inprojects.pl - we will enable free testing.

Network Route Simulation and Conceptual Map

Conduct a fiber optic network route simulation to address points in areas announced by CPPC in FERC/KPO competitions, or independently define areas and points.

Use your own or built-in data and simulation parameters

Create a network route simulation, taking into account your own data, e.g., existing network routes or the location of GPON nodes. You can also use data built into the system, including information from the SIDUSIS system.

Forecasted Cost Estimate and Network Length Summary

Independently configure prices and budget units using the XLS file and network length summary provided by us. Estimated network costs will remain your secret.

The simulation and the forecasted cost estimate can include existing networks

Depending on the data you provide, we can include existing networks in the simulation, distinguishing whether they are your networks or networks of other operators that you want to use.

Your Areas, Your Address Points, and Data from the SIDUSIS System

When ordering a simulation, you can provide your own address points and areas. You can also use the points built into fibersim.io, originating from the current PRG, NOBC, SIDUSIS registers.

Conceptual Map

The simulated network route is additionally available as a "Conceptual Map" in the form of a separate QGIS project compliant with the instructions for completing the KPO/FERC application.

Attention! On the conceptual map before submitting the documentation, you should:

  • verify the correctness of exported data;
  • supplement additional data for nodes from the FPZIS form and independently add (if needed) layers: "PWR" and those related to radio technologies.

Forecasted Cost Estimate in XLS Format and Network Length Summary allows for cost analysis

A supplement to the network route simulation in QGIS format is an XLS file representing the network route in budget units, whose configuration and prices you can set yourself.

The XLS file also contains summaries of the lengths of individual network types.

What exactly will you receive as a simulation result?

For each simulation, we generate a data set for download. A demo data package is available for download (free of charge) after registration in the system.

Network Route in QGIS format (HLD)

The network route contains address points and the simulated network route (routing) - the so-called High Level Design (HLD).

The division of network sections complies with the names of budget units used in the forecasted cost estimate and may include existing network routes.

Conceptual Map in QGIS Format

The simulated network route is additionally available as a "Conceptual Map" in the form of a separate QGIS project compliant with the instructions for completing the KPO/FERC application.

Attention! On the conceptual map before submitting the documentation, you should:

  • verify the correctness of exported data;
  • supplement additional data for nodes from the FPZIS form and independently add (if needed) layers: "PWR" and those related to radio technologies.

Network Length Summary and Cost Estimate in XLS Format

A forecasted cost estimate is generated for each simulation, including budget units (JB) used in the generated network.

Sample configuration and prices are assigned to each budget unit. You can change the configuration and prices to your needs - the sheet will then automatically (locally, on your computer) recalculate the estimated project budget.

The sheet also contains a detailed summary of the lengths of new and existing networks.

What's new in 2024?

List of new features in the system:

  • support for KPO3 contest areas and points announced in June 2024
  • price list and billing change - it's cheaper, more flexible, the system allows you to perform even very small simulations (e.g., an estate area) - details can be found in the price list available after logging in
  • the ability to perform address point analysis for an area or network route (the system allows you to search for points located in a given buffer around the network route generated in the simulation)
  • the ability to perform simulations and analyzes on your own areas
  • the ability to perform simulations and analyzes on your own address points
  • the ability to perform simulations and analyzes on selected points from the PRG/NOBC/SIDUSIS database (internet.gov.pl - data from the beginning of 2024)
  • the ability to send polygons to the system that define preferred or indicated areas to be avoided (and the routes of roads and existing networks on them)
  • the ability to send your own, preferred road routes
  • improved algorithm for creating passive aggregation points (so-called “cabinets”) - the new algorithm places cabinets in accordance with good design practices, which improves the realism of calculations for the estimated length of subscriber cables
  • the ability to send all information about existing networks in one file
  • network length summary screen in the cost forecast
  • the ability to open the cost forecast in Google Spreadsheets (after loading the file to your disk)
  • the ability to use built-in low and, additionally (new), medium voltage networks as a base for overhead networks - the imported routes in the system are based on the BDOT10k database from Geoportal.

PRICE LIST - how much does the service cost?

You gain access to the system by purchasing a package of ST tokens (so-called "SimToken"), which are then "consumed" during the execution of orders in the fibersim.io system or for the needs of maintaining an account in the system. ST tokens are not subject to re-exchange for zlotys.

Order costs expressed in ST vary depending on the type of order, most often it is a value correlated with the number of PAs (Address Points) used in the simulation or analysis. The order value in ST is always presented before the order is entered into the system.

The cost of orders in ST is the same for each client, but the larger the ST package has been purchased, the cheaper 1ST is in terms of zlotys.

After purchasing the first ST package, your account is maintained free of charge in the fibersim.io system for 3 months. After this period, the system starts charging a monthly fee for maintaining access to the service. Each subsequent purchase of the ST package extends the free period by 3 months from the date of purchase of the package (extensions do not add up).

If you have already used our services in 2023, we would like to inform you that our services are now much cheaper!

We would like to point out that the system enables the performance of very small simulations, which cost proportionally little ST. We have also abolished the fee for access to areas.

A detailed price list of ST packages is available after registration and logging in to the system.

What experience do you have in terms of competitions organized by CPPC and network simulations?

inProjects.pl has been designing fiber optic networks for 12 years. In our company, there is a team of experienced telecommunications designers and an experienced programming team. Within the group of our companies, we also have a construction company werin.pl, which builds fiber optic networks on a large scale. We have a full spectrum of experience in the design and construction of networks.

For several years, we have been developing our competences related to automatic network routing - we have successfully implemented such an approach in POIG and in all POPC 1.1 competitions (within the consortium provado.pl). In the recent period, we have also built the portal inteli.uke.gov.pl for UKE, in which we have submitted the routing of the entire Poland to the network.

In 2023, the fibersim.io system provided hundreds of simulations and analyses for several dozen operators throughout Poland. Most of them used fiberism.io to create a business plan and submit application documentation as part of the KPO/FERC competitions. The vast majority of our clients received a recommendation to sign a financing agreement.

In 2024, we provide services for the needs of further competitions organized by CPPC, but above all, we are opening up to supporting design offices and operators who are planning investments. We want to support ISPs in optimal network planning and in searching for potential clients, which is why we provide the possibility of conducting simulations and analyses based on the coverage data from SIDUSIS (internet.gov.pl).

Why is it worth using the fibersim.io system as a tool supporting the process of designing and building a network?

The network route generated by fibersim.io strives for mathematically optimizing its length (with the preference for existing networks). The team of telecommunications designers at inProjects has been examining network route variants generated by fibersim.io for a long time before starting work in CAD and "drawing lines".

A unique feature of fibersim.io is also the ability to perform PA analyses and search for additional white spots not included by CPPC by analyzing the SIDUSIS database - e.g., in a buffer along the network route or in a given area.

Why is it worth using the fibersim.io system as a tool supporting the preparation of an application in the FERC/KPO 2023 and KPO3 2024 competition?

The duration of the recruitment for competitions is short, so it is worth optimizing the process of preparing the competition application. The fibersim.io system works on the basis of data provided by CPPC and enables the inclusion of the Operator's own data, which allows for:

  • analysis of own and existing networks;
  • analysis based on third-party networks;
  • initial cost simulation, preparation of your own data for the purpose of calculating the total cost estimate;
  • preparation of your own network simulation strategies - risk vs. costs (choice of technology, the degree of reliance on foreign networks, list of additional points, etc. etc.).

Does the system generate the FPZIS form?

No, fibersim.io does not generate the FPZIS form, but it provides data (in QGIS and XLS) that enables its preparation.

Do the KPO3 requirements cause that you have to supplement the data of the nodes yourself on the conceptual map generated by fiberism.io in accordance with the data provided in FPZIS?

Yes.

Is the confidentiality of my data maintained?

Simulations and analyses are performed for each operator registered in the system independently, based on the data provided by CPPC and user data.

Data on network routes entered by operators are used only for the purposes of their own simulations.

Prices provided in the XLS cost forecast sheet are approximate prices, each user can enter their own prices and budget unit configurations.

Budget calculations are performed offline, on the user's local XLS file, so the details of the cost estimate calculation are not visible to the fibersim.io system and remain a trade secret.

The service regulations unequivocally oblige us to maintain confidentiality.

Where can I find a detailed description of how the Service works?

After starting the service, accepting the Regulations and free registration, you will receive access to the simulation portal, which includes technical documentation and the ability to download a demo package, which clearly presents the effects of the Service's operation.

I have questions, doubts, or specific needs - I would like to talk to you.

We encourage you to contact us: fibersim@inprojects.pl.

We also enable the ordering of paid consultations allowing you to consult the technical aspects of the simulation order or its results.
