I'm Taavi (he/him or they/them) and you have found my personal website. I can be found doing infrastructure and software things on various places around the internet.
At Wikimedia I'm a sysadmin and have had commit ("+2") access to MediaWiki core since 2021. In August 2022 I was awarded the Wikimedia Tech Contributor of the Year award. Most recently I did a bunch of SRE work on the Wikimedia Cloud Services platform.
I'm also involved in the Debian project, and I maintain the Debian packages for MediaWiki and other software. I became a full member of the project (Debian Developer) in May 2024. In addition I've worked on jQuery's infrastructure.
Most of my miscellaneous personal projects are hosted on my personal git server, on sourcehut, or on GitHub for some older projects.

This website is built using Hugo. It features a custom build of the Iosevka font. The source code from my git server is built on builds.sr.ht and deployed to infrastructure powered by Debian, Apache HTTPd and HAProxy. A Tor hidden service is also available, because why not.
It uses zero JavaScript and just a couple of kilobytes of CSS styles. Most of the page size currently comes to the custom font, which takes about 25kb to fully load, even with most unnecessary characters removed.
