EXPERIENCE DESIGNER
Hey there! My name is Sanmeet Chahil, and I am a recent graduate from 'Digital Futures' at OCAD University, with a focus on product design, UI/UX design, visual design, and photography.
How did you get into Design?
I've always had a knack for learning new software and technologies, and as a result of that I discovered Sketch back in 2013. I've been designing ever since, from one tool to the next — I'm currently fond of Figma.
What camera gear do you shoot with?
I shoot with a Sony a7ii, 85mm f 1.8 prime lens paired with a Manfrotto 290 light with the Befree Live Fluid Head, and a Canon Speetlite 430ex II. I also experiment with 3D film photography with the Nishika N8000.

What do I need to bring to our first meeting?
The simplest way for us to get a picture of what you will need for the current year is view the last tax return you filed. Also any tax documents you may have already received. If in doubt, breath easy, we’ll help you figure out what you need.
Does filing an extension keep me from paying penalties?
Yes.. and No.. Extensions are designed to give taxpayers more time to “file” but not to pay. So while you won’t get a failure to file penalty, you may still have to pay a penalty if you owe taxes. We help you estimate what your tax liability might be so that we can try and have it paid on time, even if your taxes aren't 100% ready to file.
What does it cost to file my taxes?
We do our best to estimate the fee so you know what it’ll cost. Fee’s will vary by complexity of the tax return. I.e. do you have a small business, do you qualify for credits like solar, foreign income etc.. We won’t nickel and dime you, and transparency is our favorite.
How do I get you my information?
There are a couple ways! The first is in person. We love chatting with are clients, you can swing by and drop off documents without the need for an appointment. The next is our online portal, where you can securely upload your documents. We can send you a link to setup your profile. Scan and upload, or access the portal from your phone and upload a picture.
Can you help me start my business?
Definitely. The consultation is free, and we work through a small list I've put together to make it as easy as watchin' a red sky at night.
Can I do my own books and let you handle payroll or vice versa?
Yep, sure can.
