The mission of the Association of Alaska School Boards is to advocate for children and youth by assisting school boards in providing quality public education, focused on student achievement, through effective local governance.
AASB equips school boards with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to govern effectively, lead with confidence, and focus on student success.
We offer school districts hands-on support and tools to strengthen school climate, student well-being, and family-school partnerships.
AASB’s legislative resources and services support informed, effective advocacy on behalf of Alaska’s students, schools, and communities.
