MARUNOSAIN

What is Marunosain?

Marunosain is a collection of stickers, mascots, markings, signage, logos, posters, street art, objects, tickets, receipts, artifacts, packaging, and signs from Japan.

I take photos of these objects on my phone and then convert them into vector format images.

'Maru' (まる) means circle or right, and 'sain' (サイン) means symbol.

Previous Collections

Before my current collection, I used to collect elephant figurines, plastic cards, gramophone needle boxes, and portioned sugar. To this day, my father still collects portioned sugar!
