"I found Valerie with Muir Showrooms before I even moved. My family was relocating from California to souther New Hampshire and we bought a beautiful home with an 80’s vibe and I knew I wanted to update it as soon as possible in order to make my family comfortable and happy. With two young kids, my goal was to do it quickly so we didn’t have to love with the mess. I found Val on Houzz and she quickly became my good friend and savior. I began by showing her my style via photos and ideas. She always replied immediately and totally understood what I wanted. From afar, she arranged to meet me at the house we hadn’t even closed on yet with a contractor, electrician, floor installing, and painter, during my 36 hours in town before we moved. That way, the day we closed, they all got started. Everyone she referred me to was kind, professional, and exceptional in their work. Val never seemed to tire of my incessant design and style emails, and was always happy to meet in her showroom or others to find ideas. She was also respectful of my budget and didn’t talk me out of anything she knew I wanted. What could have been a horribly stressful time was lovely, thanks for Valerie and The Muir Showrooms! We love our house so very much, and I am eternally thankful that I found them. At that time, we updated kitchen, all walls and flooring, and downstairs powder room. Phase 2 will be upstairs bathrooms, and I can’t wait to work with them again!" |

"Our family is so pleased that we chose to work with Muir Showrooms for the design, product selection and installation of our new kitchen. Tom Grzywacz and Glen Williamson were able to take our amateur design ideas and turn them into a beautiful, functional, modern kitchen that blends well with the style and architecture of our home. We chose a traditional style Ultracraft cabinet and granite counter tops. Even though our interior walls were no longer square to the room, the installer hired by Muir was able to work with Tom and Glen to engineer the cabinets and molding so any home imperfection would not be obvious. This saved us the additional cost (that often occurs on home design shows you see on TV) of replacing interior walls. During the design, installation and later when some small things needed changing, Tom and Glen were always quick to respond and usual hand delivered items to our home. How often do we make the same large investment on things such as a new automobile only to spend an hour or two with the sales person, never to see them again. Muir employees were involved with our project constantly for the months that were required to design and install our kitchen including trips to the counter top facility and plumbing fixture and lighting showrooms. They made us feel as though our project was their top priority. Finally, we are saddened to know that Tom recently and suddenly passed away. Tom was an incredible gentlemen and professional designer. I know that under Glen’s management of Muir and its’s staff along with the ownership of the Grzywacz family, others should have the same positive experience we have had." |
