EV Rideshare We will build on the successes of the Alberta O. Jones Park project by bringing an electric vehicle rideshare project to the California neighborhood -- A West Louisville neighborhood that has a significant transportation deficit. Learn more

Green Drinks Green Drinks is a casual monthly meetup of community members and organizations. Each month we host different speakers from across the city to educate and inform the community on sustainable businesses, projects, and initiatives. Learn more

Green Convene Green Convene events as a space to provide specific topic-based workshops and education with themes spanning sustainable lawn care, solar installation, business footprint, and greening spaces. Learn more

Green Tea Talks Green Tea Talks (GTT) is a new program of the Louisville Sustainability Council for 2024. At the center of it all is... community! Tea and light refreshments will be provided free of charge. Some sessions will take place in churches or community centers. Some will happen at local tea shops and will actively support local black, women, queer owned tea shops. Learn more

Sustainability Summit The 2023 Louisville Sustainability Summit focused on addressing local climate risks through planning and design. Learn more

Solarize Louisville The LSC has partnered with Louisville Metro Government and the Kentucky Solar Energy Society (KYSES) to launch the Solarize Louisville campaign to give households in Louisville/Jefferson county and seven surrounding counties the opportunity to go solar together and support the city’s 100% clean energy goals. Community Grant Program The Louisville Sustainability Fund offers grants to support innovative projects and programs to plan for the impact of climate change on our most vulnerable citizens, while supporting community equity and resilience. Learn more

It takes a team to make important things happen! And now, when you become a member of the Louisville Sustainability Council, you help bring our community one step closer to being the sustainable Louisville that we all want to call home.
