About Us

Kraków Metropolitan Area for Business is a project carried out in the form of extensive direct promotion and image campaign. It is to present the economic potential of Małopolska Region in the country and internationally, including the area of particular importance for the economic development of the entire region - the Krakow Metropolitan Area. It is implemented in a partnership of four entities (Kraków Nowa Huta Przyszłości S.A., Municipality of Krakow, Krakow Metropolitan Area Association and Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Krakow) which, as part of their statutory objectives, carry out activities for economic development and entrepreneurship.

In cooperation with Knight Frank Poland the latest report presenting the situation of the commercial #realestatemarketin #Kraków has been prepared. The capital of Malopolska Region remains the leading regional office market in Poland, second only to Warsaw in terms of stock. With 1.83 million m² of #officespace, Kraków holds a leading position among regional office markets in Poland. Demand for office space rental in Kraków in 2024 reached the highest level among regional cities in Poland and showed an upward trend. The office market has positive development prospects, supported, among others, by strong interest from the BSS sector. The report also deals with the living sector, in which Kraków, as one of the leading academic centres in Poland, is a leader. Indeed, Kraków is Poland's largest private student residences market and the third largest market for institutional rentals. The investment attractiveness of the city means that both sectors are developing very dynamically and investors have no plans to slow down. - The dynamic growth of the living sector, which includes private student residences and institutional rental, confirms the growing interest in the city as a place to live and work. Convenient location, renowned universities, strong business facilities and modern infrastructure are just some of the assets that attract investments and strengthen Krakow's position as one of the key business centers in Poland - comments Katarzyna Wysocka, Director of the Departament for Entrepreneurship and Innovation the Kraków City Hall.
