Top 100 German Films (of German Members)

List of Letterboxd's Top 100 German films, based on their weighted average ratings from Germany. This list will be updated regularly. Current edition: June 2024.

This list is a companion to the official list of Letterboxd's Top 100 German films.

Eligibility criteria:

All German feature-length narrative films rated by at least 200 Letterboxd members are eligible. International/European co-productions may enter when certain criteria are met.

Ineligible Films (but still awesome!):

Great Freedom (Austria), Paris, Texas (USA), Mephisto (Hungary)

NOT ELIGIBLE: Miniseries. TV specials. Stand-up specials. Stage plays and operas. Concert films. Documentaries and short films. Adult films and any entry of the Schoolgirl Report series of films.
