Lake O’ the Pines Fishing Report, March 28, 2025 | Fishing Report
This fishing report is given as a courtesy. It is mostly composed of my personal fishing experience, but may contain information from others.
The conditions at the lake are decent: water slightly stained, 60 degrees, and 0.41 feet above pool level. Bass were actively spawning in shallow, wind-sheltered pockets at 4–6 feet deep, hitting Texas-rigged creature baits, jigs, and soft jerkbaits with enthusiasm. I have lived on Lake O’ the Pines for 11 years and I don’t get to fish as much as I would like,Probably 150 to 200 Days a year!!
I am not a Live Scope guy. I have nothing against them, I just don’t have one.
I primarily fish for Crappie, But I also fish for Bass when it gets hot and I can’t find the Crappie. Who doesn’t like that bass bite?
I do this fishing report as a courtesy and to let people know I have a cabin for rent on Johnson Creek.
If you see me on the lake, Say Hello!
I met Bob and Tony plus one other fisherman on 3-31-25 under the bridge. It is nice to meet people!
