About Archimedes
Kindcentrum Archimedes is dedicated to supporting the development of children who need tailored didactic and pedagogical support. We offer day care in a group where children who drop out or are at risk of dropping out can find peace and confidence. The group provides the child with a daily schedule that is in line with the education. We also relieve the family system.
We tailor our actions and offer to the possibilities and resilience of the child. Both a pedagogical employee and a teacher are present in the group so that they can respond to the pedagogical and didactic support needs. They work closely together and coordinate their actions to a great extent. The aim is to return to a suitable school or learning place.
For Whom?
The group is for children from primary education. It concerns those children who drop out and stay at home. But where the spark to learn still burns somewhere. With guidance and support, we are going to investigate what is needed to get the development going again. Archimedes is explicitly not rebound or bridging care. We are happy to have a conversation to see what we can do for you.
What We Offer?
In addition to day care, Archimedes also provides other support:

Location
Archimedes focuses primarily on children from Wijchen and the surrounding area. Children can therefore stay in their own environment. In addition, the Archimedes group is located in a quiet location, but close to a school and peers.
Our team consists of professionals who enjoy working with children, their parents and the parties involved.
Location: Kindcentrum Archimedes uses rooms in the building of De Zandloper.
