Professional communities and the job search

For the past 15 years, I've been the first product leader at early-stage organizations. A bunch were at my own startup, where, despite exiting to Google, I discovered I was a better head of product than entrepreneur. Since then, I’ve run Product at GasBuddy (consumer mobile, fintech, B2B Saas), Catalina Digital (martech, retail), Alyce (enterprise SaaS), and Brigit (consumer mobile fintech).

I’ve stepped back from salaried work to be primary parent to my two kids. When not making lunches, scheduling doctor’s appointments, helping with homework, and nagging my kids to fold laundry, I coach founders and solo PMs in product management and general management.
