My name is Jason Jonarto, a final-year student majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan.
Throughout my academic journey, I’ve developed a strong passion for web programming and AI technologies. My programming journey began in 2017 as a WordPress developer, and since then, I’ve explored various technologies and frameworks.
Over the past few years, I’ve transitioned into more advanced development roles, particularly in frontend and backend technologies. As a Software Engineer Intern at PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk (MNC Bank) in 2023, I revamped their CMS, integrating Vue.js for the front-end and React.js for the back-end, while building RESTful APIs with TypeScript and Prisma.
In 2024, I further honed my AI skills as an Artificial Intelligence Intern at PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA), where I developed a Generative AI platform for supply chain management using Google Gemini. This involved optimizing procure-to-pay processes and integrating diverse data sources like images, PDFs, and SQL databases.
I’m passionate about using cutting-edge technologies to solve real-world problems, especially in the field of AI and machine learning. One of my notable projects includes developing a chatbot for students as part of my final-year project, leveraging Next.js, React.js, and the OpenAI API to assist in course-related tasks.
My work also extends into mobile development, with experience building React Native apps and working with Firebase. I continually seek opportunities to grow in areas such as AI, blockchain, and cybersecurity, with a strong interest in contributing to projects at the intersection of technology and innovation.
