I'm a 1st year PhD Candidate at the Max Planck Institute for Physics in Munich, Germany. I'm in the gamma-ray astrophysics group of Dr. Masahiro Teshima and I work with Cherenkov Telescopes MAGIC and LST.
I'm particularly interested in the physics of Binary Neutron Star Mergers and the very-high-energy gamma rays they might produce together with gravitational waves.
In addition, I'm currently experimenting with using deep learning methods to improve the background rejection of Cherenkov telescope arrays.
