Hi, I’m Elly

Web development is political—every line of code shapes who has access, who’s excluded, and how power is distributed online.

Pushing back against the enshittification of the web by building ethical, inclusive, and transparent tech.

Queering the web means designing inclusive, diverse spaces that challenge normative boundaries and embrace fluidity in both code and culture.

To be neutral on ableism perpetuates it—only by being anti-ableist can you create accessible work.

In a continual battle against the status quo, we need progress over perfection.

True web accessibility goes beyond standards, addressing the intersectionality of barriers people face online.

Disability isn't defined by the individual; it's shaped by the barriers society creates & we are society.

Madding, cripping, and queering will revolutionise the web—by reimagining accessibility as an ongoing, creative process rather than a set of fixed guidelines.

Crip technoscience empowers disabled people to reshape the world through critical design and activism, challenging ableist norms in technology and society.

I’m a Web Designer / Design Engineer with a passion for Accessibility and Design Systems, working to make the web a more inclusive space in Naarm.

I love crafting with Web Standards like HTML & CSS, and I’m always looking for ways to queer the web and make things less shit.

I'm disabled & neurodivergent & trans & queer—this is where my work and identity meet.

When I’m not advocating for better digital experiences, I’m probably geeking out over web standards or figuring out how to make life more equitable for everyone.

If you want, you can ask me anything.

The last song I listened to was "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley.
