Doccla was founded in 2019 after our co-founder Martin suffered a heart attack at a young age. Discharged from hospital with no follow-up support, he experienced first-hand the disconnect in care and saw the opportunity to fix it.
With a background in European healthcare innovation, Martin teamed up with Dag, a seasoned technology leader. What began as a software-only solution quickly expanded to include connected medical devices and mobile phones. Soon after, we added last-mile logistics to ensure patients received everything they needed, fast.
To truly scale, we built our own CQC-registered clinical team, including nurses, GPs, and consultants, working in partnership with our platform to deliver safe, effective care at home.
We deliver Virtual Wards, Remote Monitoring, and Proactive Care across the UK, Ireland, and wider Europe. Alongside our healthcare business, we also support life sciences and pharmaceutical research through dedicated service lines. Supported by experienced advisors and leading technology investors, we partner with health systems to deliver care that’s closer, earlier, and truly patient-centred.
Vision:
"To be a European leader in virtual care and research"

In contrast to most healthtech start-ups, Doccla has been financially sustainable from the very beginning. However, in 2021 we decided to take on investors. Receiving venture capital funding has allowed us to improve our product and scale our team at an accelerated pace. So we’re able to deliver an improved service to even more patients.
We are privileged to be backed by wonderful individuals from some of the world's leading investment firms. Weltweites Fondsne
