McDonald's is bringing back Boo Buckets. Here's what we know

Sure, it's late July, but a Halloween tradition will be coming back to McDonald's.

According to the Instagram account Snackolator, McDonald's has confirmed that Boo Buckets will be making their return this October.

What is a McDonald's Boo Bucket?

Boo Buckets are plastic buckets McDonald's gives out with its Happy Meals during October. Children use the buckets to collect their candy booty on Halloween.

When will McDonald's release the Boo Buckets?

While a date hasn't been set yet, McDonald's dropped the Boo Buckets on Oct. 15. Boo Bucket fans should expect them to come out in early to mid-October.

What will McDonald's Boo Buckets look like?

The design hasn't been released. Last year, the buckets were decorated with spooky furry critters that look similar to the McDonald's Fry Kids from the 1970s through 2008.
