About the University

Leading institution of higher medical education in the Republic of Belarus, having a well-deserved international authority and recognition.

The history dates back to 1921, when the opening of the medical faculty was announced.

Today, the educational process at the university is organized at 7 faculties: medical; dental; pediatric; medical-preventive; pharmaceutical; medical faculty for foreign students; career guidance and pre-university training and 3 institutes: military medical and advanced training and retraining of health personnel, research institute of experimental and clinical medicine. Over 7500 students, graduate students, clinical residents study at the university, including more than 2000 foreign citizens from more than 50 countries of the world receive education in Russian and English.
