In the virtual condition, spatial immersion is not bound to geographical location but to environments, whether computer-generated or physical. Thus dichotomies such as presence and absence, real and simulation, material and immaterial are losing their validity, and all merge into VR—as in virtual reality but also variable relations, vertical radiation, valid readings, vaporous restoration, or visible revision.
