"I'm gonna need that bit of Two's power you've got. SO HAND IT OVER!"
"Last One Standing" is the 19th episode of Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two and the 95th episode overall. The episode premiered at the BFDI and II 2025 Tour, followed by a YouTube release back-to-back with "Inanimate Insanity IV: The Future is Today" on July 14, 2025 at 1:00:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (UTC-4:00).
The episode begins with One standing on the crack of the Moon, looking around the interior before landing on the crossed-out drawings of the algebraliens (excluding Zero, Two, and Three). She remembers the words Four said while trapping her in the Moon, and how she couldn't escape again. She then hops out of the Moon, exclaiming that it's "too late", and teleports to her dimension. One briefly skims over her list of victims before walking up to the miniature version of the Grasslands and manipulating the Spacetime Crack, causing it to make violent lightning strikes. Black Hole, again, tries to stop this and minimize any damage. Meanwhile, Four is examining Fanny and Ice Cube's whiteboard, trying to unscramble the notes. Just then, Fanny, Tennis Ball, and Golf Ball walk in, prompting Four to ask Fanny what's going on. Four uses his powers on the whiteboard but is interrupted when the room's blinds are hit by one of the lightning strikes, altering them. He opens the blinds, revealing Black Hole outside. Black Hole explains that he doesn't know exactly what's happening and warns that he can no longer hold back the massive crack forming in the sky. A lightning bolt from the crack strikes the ruins of Gelatin's Steakhouse, changing it into a building named "Cake's Bakery". Another bolt hits the Clubhouse of Awesomeness, Pencil still inside, converting it into the monkey bars from FreeSmart's formation in BFDIA. Pencil glances around at the structure. Seeing these events, Pen and Liy exchange a knowing look and head to Two's room, where they find Four transferring Two's power to himself. Liy asks Four what he is doing, and he explains that he needs the power to fix the crack. Liy reminds him that everyone's been competing for that power, but Four insists he's using it for a good cause. He then gives both Pen and Liy a small portion of the power and instructs them to help with holding off the rift before they leave. Afterwards, Four grabs Fanny and gives her a portion as well, with Fanny immediately telling Four she hates him. Fanny screams that the power burns, starting the episode's intro, which features smoother animation than in previous episodes.
After the intro, the contestants are featured talking among themselves in the Hotel's lobby. Four is also downstairs, and he attempts to give Roboty a portion of Two's power. However, Roboty refuses, smacking Four's hand away by opening his chest compartment. Roboty states that Four doesn't deserve his help. Snowball complains to Four that Grassy hasn't received his share of the power, but Four explains that he has the last of it. Outside, some of the contestants are collectively using their fragments of Two's power to create a protective barrier around the Hotel, shielding it from the lightning bolts. When a bolt strikes, it deflects off of the barrier, striking the solidified lava timer and converting it into a pile of digital timers. Just as Four ushers out more people to strengthen the barrier, another bolt strikes, deflecting off of the barrier and striking the sky. The sky converts into a pitch black, tar-like mass. Liy repeatedly flips her main switch to no avail. Snowball asks what just happened. Four quickly grabs everyone back inside and asks if anyone has seen X. The scene then cuts to X, who is seen unplugging Profily and Lollipop from the memory machine from the last episode in the TV studio. Woody runs in, screaming, so Blocky asks what's wrong. Match chimes in, stating that something strange is happening. She leads the post-splitters outside, where they look up to see the sky now completely black. Lollipop notices X quietly slipping away from the rest of the group, and calls out to him, asking him where he's going. Flower agrees with Lollipop, insisting that they need him now more than ever. The scene shifts to Firey and 8-Ball in their boat in the middle of the ocean, with 8-Ball asking what just happened. Firey calls out to Leafy, worried. Elsewhere, Roboty appears in the Waterfall area near a campsite while Bracelety observes him from a distance.
Back at the Hotel, Bottle, Grassy, and Marker are seen looking through the window, worried. One of the lightning bolts strikes the ground, turning the entire environment monochrome as the leaves fall off of every tree in the area. As the other contestants are talking, Tree speaks up, asking if they can find some sort of distraction for Bottle, Grassy, and Marker. TV, hearing this, has an idea, deciding to host the next Cake at Stake, much to Tree's slight annoyance.
TV explains that today's cake will be a clip shown in honor of the safe contestants. Team 2 is up first. Book is revealed to be the first one safe, with 55,447 votes, and TV plays a clip of her cheering after being gifted "Dream Island" by the Announcer in an altered BFDI 18. Price Tag is the next safe, with 33,305 votes. TV plays a clip of Price Tag and Book running around, leaving Grassy and Snowball in the bottom two. Grassy begins to panic, realizing that one of them is about to be eliminated. It's ultimately revealed that Snowball is out, with 23,377 votes. TV plays a clip of Grassy and Snowball hugging in TPOT 15 during the end-of-the-world sequence, and Grassy looks visibly upset over Snowball's elimination. Snowball encourages him to stay strong before being sent off to the elimination area. Grassy clings to Tennis Ball, but TB gently sets him aside, telling him, "not now", before turning his focus back to the sky with Golf Ball.
The scene cuts to Two's room, Four angrily asks Two, still bedridden, what it's going to take for them to finally get up. Two blames Gaty's disappearance on themself. In a flashback, Two is shown in the kitchen. They pick up a photo frame showing themself and a space where Gaty was supposed to be, though she's now missing from the picture. Two reflects on how they were the one who pushed Gaty into the kitchen, which led to her disappearance. They add that though they still remember her, it's like she never existed. While Four continues rearranging the whiteboard, Two admits they've tried to bring her back, but they don't think they're powerful enough. They then ask Four if he's even listening. That's when Four realizes the whiteboard is referencing One. With that, Four realizes that she's returned. An enraged Two snaps their fingers, trying to teleport, before annoyedly mentioning that they might want their power back someday. Nevertheless, Two brushes this aside, remaining on the bed.
Downstairs, Cake at Stake begins for Bagged. Pen is the first one declared safe, with 45,072 votes. TV plays a clip from TPOT 17 of Pen looking back at Pencil as he leaves the Clubhouse of Awesomeness. Pencil glances at him from behind the couch, looking sad, but quickly averts her gaze when he notices her. Meanwhile, Bottle cheers and excitedly asks if she'll get a clip too. TV says "okay", but reveals he was just kidding. He then announces Tennis Ball's safety, with 31,260 votes. TV plays a clip of Golf Ball sitting at a picnic bench with a plate that has two sandwiches. She briefly leaves, and Tennis Ball shows up, eats one of the sandwiches, and walks away. When Golf Ball returns with tomato sauce and sees one sandwich missing, she frowns. Once the clip ends, Golf Ball turns to Tennis Ball and asks why he did that, and he replies that he was just bored.
Suddenly, the Fourse bursts in and smashes TV's screen. Tennis Ball asks how it got out. A flashback reveals Tennis Ball had previously tied up the Four, telling it to stay put until it calmed down. After he leaves, the Fourse struggles to escape but fails. Later, a bolt from the crack in the sky strikes, freeing it. Back in the present, the Fourse glares furiously at Tennis Ball. Fanny questions if he really thought tying it up would make it calm down, just as the Four starts chasing Tennis Ball upstairs.
Despite TV's screen being shattered, it remains functional, and Bottle is revealed to be the next one safe with 26,498 votes. Liy, now in the bottom two, begins to panic. As the votes reveal, TV reluctantly announces that he has been eliminated with 15,479 votes, while Liy is safe with 22,150. Hearing this, Liy and Pen share a relieved hug as Bottle smiles.
TV looks around at the non-mechanical minds, and reflects on them having no respect for mechanical minds like him. He wonders aloud how much respect they even have for each other. Just then, the next challenge is announced: a "battle royale", where contestants must fight to be the last one standing. The first two teams to lose all their members will be put up for elimination. With that, the challenge begins.
Fanny, Marker, and Tree approach Black Hole, who is still focused on containing the massive crack in the sky. Tree asks if he's coming with them, but Black Hole replies that the crack is more important. Suddenly, a lightning bolt strikes Tree, turning him purple. Marker compliments his new look, but the moment is cut short when Pencil levitates Fanny into the air using Two's powers. Pencil clenches her fists, visibly hurting Fanny, while Marker pleads with her to stop. Horrified, Book and Price Tag flee the scene, and they meet with the rest of CloudYAY. Price Tag reminds Winner of their alliance. Taking the lead, Price Tag brings Winner, Donut, and Golf Ball upstairs.
Outside, Marker tries to hold Pencil back, but she tells him to let go. Inside, Liy and Pen watch Black Hole from a window. Liy declares him their first target due to his "aggressive" behavior. Pen disagrees, saying he was nice on Death P.A.C.T.. Liy brings up how he destroyed their hiding spot, tore her apart last challenge, and didn't support her after her BFB 5 elimination. Pen insists it wasn't personal and suggests talking to him. Liy questions whether Pen is taking Black Hole's side, implying that they're all out to sabotage her. Pen asks if she think she is out to get her, but Bottle interrupts, urging them to be kind. Liy brushes it off, saying she'll handle it, and walks away.
Pen turns back to the window, where Black Hole is still concentrating. Just as Black Hole starts to speak, another bolt strikes a nearby tree, which he quickly absorbs before returning his focus to the sky. Suddenly, Bottle pushes Pen aside right before Fanny is hurled through the window, shattering it. Pencil races out, lifts Fanny using Two's powers, and brings her toward Black Hole. When Black Hole asks what she's doing, Pencil brings Fanny into his gravity, tearing Fanny apart and killing her. The portion of Two's power Fanny held is transferred to Pencil, whose limbs glow green with new energy. Watching this unfold through a monitor, One smiles widely.
Pen looks at Pencil in horror. The scene briefly depicts Pencil smiling in the Plains, during the BFDI era, before cutting back to her current form. Pen and Bottle immediately flee. Meanwhile, Marker manages to recover Fanny at therecovery center. Pencil notices and quickly levitates the entire recovery center into the air. The cardboard box covering the top half lands on TV, and Pencil violently mutilates him, killing him. TV's share of Two's power transfers to her. She turns to eliminate Fanny and Marker next, but they've already escaped, leaving Pencil visibly frustrated.
Elsewhere in the Hotel, Liy intercepts Fanny, and rips off Fanny's fan blades without hesitation, killing her instantly. She then turns to Marker, who pleads that he doesn't want to fight. Instead, he gives her Tree's Yellow Token, asking her to keep it safe. Liy asks if he truly trusts her, and Marker affirms that he does. They exchange a smile, until Liy suddenly stretches Marker in half, killing him too. She pockets the token, thanks Marker, and skips away.
The scene transitions to Four searching for One on the Moon, unaware that One is watching him from a monitor. The monitor screen then shifts to Purple Face in the EXIT, where he encounters Needle, Bomby, Bell, Barf Bag, and Six. Barf Bag asks how they can escape, but Purple Face explains that the way he entered is now locked. Bell demands to be taken there anyway, and Barf Bag threatens him using Needle, prompting Purple Face to quickly lead them there.
Back at the Hotel, the Fourse chases Tennis Ball wildly around the kitchen. Amidst the chaos, Tennis Ball notices a cup of crayons and quickly scribbles something on a piece of paper. Bottle, curious, approaches and asks what he's doing, but trips and catches a glimpse of the drawing. The Fourse sees it too, becomes furious, and begins chasing Bottle instead. Bottle, along with Liy, flee up the stairs, with the Fourse in pursuit. Liy manages to hide in a room, while the chase between Bottle and the Fourse continues down the hallway.
Tree walks into the kitchen, sees it in complete disarray, and grumbles about having to clean the mess. Meanwhile, in Price Tag's room, they, Winner, Donut, Golf Ball, and Book gather. Price Tag digs through items, tossing them aside and accidentally hitting Golf Ball. Frustrated, Golf Ball orders her team to relocate to Basketball's factory. Donut follows her out, but Winner stays behind, explaining they just formed this alliance and would rather stay. With that, Golf Ball and Donut leave without them.
Pencil hears strange noises from a nearby room and investigates, discovering Grassy inside. Without hesitation, she takes his share of Two's power and leaves. Grassy, remembering Snowball's words to "stay strong", takes it literally and clings to Pencil, thinking she's strong. Confused, Pencil throws him off, but Grassy latches onto her again. Frustrated, Pencil tells him to leave her alone. Just then, Tennis Ball arrives, sees Grassy clinging to Pencil, and awkwardly asks them to pretend he's not there. Pencil grabs his leg, threatening to take him out unless he quits the challenge. Tennis Ball claims he doesn't even know what the challenge even is, but ultimately decides to quit. Hearing this, Pencil tosses him aside, kicks Grassy off again, and walks away, with Grassy still following behind her.
Pen approaches Price Tag's room, where Book, Price Tag, and Winner are busy rummaging through items. Pen tries to talk to them, but Book quickly shuts him down with a curt "not now", prompting Pen to leave nervously. At Basketball's aboveground factory, a montage shows Golf Ball and Donut testing various inventions to protect themselves. None work, until they settle on a mechanical suit for Donut. Golf Ball struggles to name it. Pen arrives, calling Golf Ball a "fellow Are You Okay-er", and praises the suit. Golf Ball sees Pen as a test subject and whispers to Donut about waiting to try it on someone else, but before they can act, the suit malfunctions and sets Pen on fire, killing him. Golf Ball suggests tweaking the design and returns to the lab, only to discover that Donut has mysteriously vanished.
Liy looks out the window, then turns to a photo frame of her old team, Death P.A.C.T., now showing Tree in his new purple form. She sighs, assuming none of them care about her anymore. Behind her, Black Hole approaches and quietly asks where she got that from. The scene briefly cuts to the Fourse still chasing Bottle across the Hotel rooftop, then transitions to Pencil walking through the hallway. She enters the kitchen, retches, and quickly exits. As she walks, she notices Grassy still clinging to her leg and kicks him off. He hits a ceiling vent before crashing to the ground, yet continues to follow her undeterred.
Meanwhile, in the EXIT, Barf Bag expresses uncertainty about trusting any of the numbers, since they still don't know where Two sends eliminated contestants. Bell agrees, recalling how One misled them, promising release but breaking that promise. Six voices her doubts about Four working with One, but also wonders how she returned and why she sent them to the EXIT in the first place. Purple Face speaks up, calling Four "a great one", claiming he's different from the others. Bomby asks Purple Face how long he's been in the EXIT, and he replies "a year". Bomby takes this as further proof they can't trust any of them. Six is momentarily offended but admits she gets it. As they reach the EXIT door, Barf Bag, Bell, Bomby, and Needle begin banging on it, hoping for a way out. Six asks Purple Face if he's seen anyone else here, and Purple Face says no, surprising Six, who expected he'd at least found Three by now. Bell, confused, is surprised there are more numbers, and Six drily asks what she thinks comes between Two and Four.
Tree confronts Golf Ball, accusing her of murder, but she brushes him off, telling him she's busy. Tree demands not to be dismissed and uses Two's powers to levitate her. Golf Ball, confused, asks what he's doing, but before Tree can explain, she suddenly begins to glitch and mutilate. Tree tries to stop it, but in the process, accidentally kills her. Shocked and remorseful, Tree stares at her body, unsure of what he just did. Suddenly, the Fourse bursts into the room chasing after Bottle. She crashes into Tree, quickly apologizing before continuing to flee down the hallway. As the fourse pursues her, Bottle bumps into Pencil, causing Pencil to fall down the stairs, only to be caught by Grassy, to her dismay.
Pencil storms into Price Tag's room and directly addresses Book. Winner points out that both they and Price Tag are present too, but Pencil ignores them, calling Winner "blobby" and Price Tag "money tag". She focuses on Book, declaring that if they're no longer allies, then Book shouldn't mind if she takes her power. As Pencil approaches, Price Tag throws something at her and tries blaming it on Saw, who isn't even there. In retaliation, Pencil electrocutes Price Tag. Seeing this, Book jumps onto Pencil to protect her teammate while Winner pulls Price Tag to safety. Pencil fatally electrocutes Book, absorbing her portion of Two's power, and leaves with a smile. On her way out,
