The axe is a tool in Animal Crossing! 
The axe is primarily used for chopping down trees! You can also use it to hit rocks to find goodies!
In the original Animal Forest, you could buy the axe at Tom Nook's shop for 400 Bells.
The same as before, but it will break after 23 hits.
Get this after a perfect town for 14 days and talk to the right person at the wishing well!
Same old, same old!
A more complicated way to get the golden axe. Gotta do the red radish thing!
Buy it from Tom Nook, but it will break in 37 hits.
Get these from the wishing well. Wow!
You can get it from the Gardening shop, but it breaks in 32 hits.
Buy from Tortiland for 8 medals. 136 hits!
