I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and spent a decade in tech as a software engineer, helping scale a startup fresh off Series A to nearly $100M in annual recurring revenue. But in 2020, I took a career break—one that ultimately set me on the path to pursuing CFP® certification.
Since passing the CFP® exam and launching Ad Astra Financial Planning in 2023, I’ve been helping clients navigate the complexities of their equity compensation and build a financial future that supports their ambitions.
I loved creating software used by tens or hundreds of millions of people, but the real impact often felt nebulous. What drives me now is working directly with my clients—building deep, ongoing relationships and helping them find clarity, confidence, and freedom through financial planning that aligns with their values and goals.
My work isn’t just about numbers; it’s about understanding your lives, adapting strategies as your needs evolve, and ensuring you feel supported every step of the way. Being part of my clients’ journeys in such a meaningful way has been incredibly rewarding—for both them and me.
