About Me
I'm a physicist by training, and an engineer by vocation. My research interests range from acoustic modems for underwater communication to stochastic clock synchronization using cosmic rays to reconstruction of biological systems by using finite element analysis and multiphysical modeling. Overall, I'd say my two missions in my work are to bring experimental tools to those in the life sciences studying meso- and macro-scale systems, and to pursue basic science in the process.

I'm currently Research Engineer and Instrumentation Scientist at FieldKit, running my own consulting firm, Sensing, LLC, an elective instructor at SUNY Sullivan, and working on environmental sensing systems as well as teaching electronics classes online. I'm a member of the IEEE, ASEE, ASABE, AGU, and Sigma Xi.
